Lent among the of the best European festivals

EFA published an open tender to look for the best European festivals. The project Europe for Festivals, Festivals for Europe (EFFE) received responses from hundreds of festivals from all across Europe, which were then evaluated based on artistic elements, involvement of local communities and their regional and international significance. Festival Lent was named one of the best Slovenian festivals and therefore the first generation EFFE winner in Europe.

All together, seven Slovenian festivals made the cut, including international festival Imago Sloveniae, Festival Ljubljana, Plesna Vesna, Seviqc Brežice and Slovenian Music Days. EFA awarded 761 festivals from 31 countries. These will now be part of a large online promo campaign aimed at improving the recognition of the European festival events.
