The cities cannot be revived by renovating the facades or changing the traffic lights. It has to be revived with people communicating, cooperating and respecting each other. We need to revive neighborhoods and relationships.

Gosposka Street

This year, The Courtyards of Maribor will focus on three biggest challenges: Koroška street, Main Square and Gosposka street.

The main focus of this year’s program is Koroška street, one of the oldest and most picturesque streets of Maribor, which is sadly falling apart with neglected facades, no landscaping and narrow sidewalks. On July 5^th, the street will be closed off to all traffic, which will show how beautiful this part of Maribor could be without cars.

ArtMarket

You will also be able to attend exhibitions at Gosposka and Koroška street and visit the ArtMar fair at the Main Square with unique handmade crafts and live music.

Gosposka street used to be a meeting place for the rich and the glamorous. Travel back in time and join us at Gosposka street to socialize, chat and dance.
