The band from Novo mesto was formed as a successor of the group Merecedes Band in 1996. Tomislav Jovanović - Tokac (vocals) and Dušan Obradinovič - Obra (drums) started forming the band by adding musicians Marko Turk - Tuco (rhythm guitar), Primož Špelko (bass) and Aleš Bartelj (solo guitar). Their past experience had come together and created a new story of rock.

In 1997, they released their debut album Igra and started performing on bigger Slovenian stages. In 2012, the band announced a new series of performances that would be acoustic with minimal musical expression. Project "Tiho" was different because of the instruments. Instead of traditional acoustic instruments, such as acoustic guitar, drums, or piano, they used unusual and out-of-the-box instruments, including spoons, wooden spoons, grater, bells, ukulele, and glass bottles.

During their tour in 2012 they announced the release of an audiocassette, which would include past hits and new music.

Leonart is a new Slovenian band. Their music is a mix of several genres, influenced by the new styles of indie and funk. Their sound is unique and their music reflects creativity. Their first single is "Nora noč".
