CHESS TOURNAMENT 19TH VASJA PIRC MEMORIAL

A traditional chess tournament to commemorate the master of chess, Vasja Pirc, has a long tradition, as it was organized for the first time in 1966. So far, over 1000 chess players from over 50 countries have participated in the tournament.

This year, there will be three tournaments held, featuring professional players, youth and amateurs. Since there will be prizes for all winners, the organizers are expecting a lot of contestants.

This year, the event will be held at Smetanova street 35. There will be no entrance fee for the tournament and there will be numerous other events happening at the same time, such as picnics (June 28 and July 4) and performances for children.
