The drum band Afir Bafir was formed by Nino Mureškič 18 years ago. Nino is a percussionist from Maribor, who learned African drumming by working with Mamadyu Keiti from Guinea. He has been transferring his knowledge to younger generations ever since. Afir Bafir mostly perform West African songs and try to remain as raw as possible.
