The most popular Slovenian electronic music radio show Rush Hour is coming back to Festival Lent to bring you the best of electronic music. Sponsored by Terme Maribor and celebrating the 10th anniversary of Jazz Club Satchmo, RH Live will feature one of the leading Eastern European DJs, Marko Nastić from Serbia, who has been successfully performing at home and abroad for the past two decades. Next up will be Slovenian DJ manatea with her deep, techno, funky, house rhythms, joined by Tim Urbanya, Rush Hour’s host. Last but not least, one of the hottest DJs from Slovenia, Tea Vuckovic, who will shake your world with techno rhythms.
Marko Nastić
Marko Nastic is one of the leading Eastern European DJs and music producers, who has been successfully performing in Belgrade, Serbia and thus crating one of the most vibrant club scenes in Eastern Europe. He was initially a member of a electronic collaboration Teenage Techno Punks, but was soon was noticed by larger clubs in the region. He was also a member of Recycle Loops and later joined the record label Jesus Loved You. He also founded three record labels: Recon Warriors, Recon Light and Traffica. He performed all over Europe and toured Brazil in 2002. Nastić is a DJ and producer that fits into several categories, since he always surprises with a unique mixture of genres.
Tim Urbanya (Rush Hour, Sweet Entertainment)
Tim Urbanya is a founder, leader, producer, host and DJ of the most popular radio show with electronic music in Slovenia, Rush Hour. The show has featured DJs, such as Avicii, Paul Van Dyke, Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten, Fedde Le Grand, Martin Solveig, Umek and many others. Curretly, most of Tim's time is devoted to producing and editing his own music, which will result in a release in the near future. As a child, he was drawn towards rock, punk and similar genres, but later fell in love with electronic music. In 2000, his passion became his job when he had his first successful performance. He feeds of the energy from the audience, has performed at most clubs and festivals in Slovenia and was offered to be a resident DJ at a club in Croatia. After returning to Slovenia, he started creating the project Virginity, became a resident DJ at Yucatan club and went on tour with his Bring out the beast project.
Tea Vuckovic
Positive energy, great selection of fine tunes and a unique feeling for controlling the crowd are main characteristics of this music-addicted DJ, whose love for electronic music started at a very young age. She is diving into the electronic dance scene with a strong devotion to her work and despite the fact that she has only been active since 2011, her list of performances is quite impressive. After conquering the Slovenian dance floors, she quickly moved forward and started performing at festivals all around Europe. She was playing alongside DJs like Sven Vath, DJ Rush, and Umek. Her hard work goes further than just playing and producing music; she plays a major role in promoting some of Slovenia’s best electronic music events. She believes in collaboration and synergy, which always results in new projects with talented producers from all around the world.
manatea
Mateja Bogataj or manatea is an energetic and promising young DJ from Slovenia. She entered the world of electronic music in 2002 and fell in love with it. In 2003 and 2006 she attended Final Flash competition and made it to finals. In 2008, she performed at the biggest European electronic music fair IFA in Berlin. She also produces her own music and has released the single ‘Till The End Of Time’ in 2009. Manatee does not fit into just one music genre, but creates a unique mixture with deep, techno, funky house rhythms and vocals. Her sets were played in clubs in Slovenia and abroad, such as K4, ZOO, Sub Sub, Top, Bachus, Cvetličarna Mediapark, Simfonija, Casablanca, Heaven, Impulz, Alaya, Tivoli, Marco Polo, Rich, Fun Academy (CRO), Code bar (CRO), IFA 2008 (Berlin-GE) and many others.
