Simo Komel (Gostilna Kobjeglava, Štanjel)

If a typical prosciutto from Kraš is two years old, then Komel’s is three years old at least. He takes cooking seriously and was able to change a typical inn into a culinary restaurant with an urban design.

Sebastijan Kovačič (Hiša Torkla, Korte) 

His cooking is well thought through and his ingredients are the best you can get. There are no fish on trays or truffles in oil. There is no bus parking lot, but there is a bread oven in the courtyard. Discover the flavors of Torkla.

Grega Božičnik (Tokyo piknik, Ljubljana) 

He is not a chef, but he brought Japan to Slovenia and France to Ljubljana. Božičnik made street food popular by introducing sushi and macrons to the capital of Slovenia.
